Reading Data In Vb, the READ and DATA commands

Space for rent Joined: 2 Jul, 2002 Posts: 872 Thanked 2 times My Contributions	Can anyone point me in the direction of how to use READ and DATA in VB 6.0? I am working on a tile-based game and will be using this to load the maps into an array. It would be alot nicer then having to type Map(x,y) = "tilepiece" 50 billion times. (Okay, so it's only a 24x24 array right now but it can and possible will get larger.)

QuickBASIC and GWBASIC. VB doesnt support Read..Data Statements. Try storing such data in files to make your job easier.
