hai,

i tried a most of the methods, but the error that i came across was,

datatype not set,

......................

so kindly help me with a sample code or vb.net application with this topic

Are you trying to accomplish this in VB.NET? If so, you'll have to provide a little code to specify the methods you are using. Can you post your code here? Was the error generated in VB.NET, or was the error generated a a result of a database infraction?
