I have eventually transferred from an Acorn to a PC platform.
Having got used to the wordprocessor, spreadsheet etc, I am now wanting to translate my old BBC Basic programmes into C
Can anyone help with this?
Particularly I am a bit stymied on the subject of graphics, which is not handled in the manual. I also need to get the hang of file handling.

BBC Basic...I have not come into contact with that for a long time!

Translating your old programs will depend on the program itself...all BBC (or Acorn) Basic functions and constructs have corresponding functions (or the tools with which to create them) in C...it's really a matter of learning the new syntax. Were you looking for a resource that could compare the two? I'm not sure where that might be, and my own knowledge of BBC Basic is failry limited...I may be able to decipher some code and translate to C, but it would really be a line by line task.

As for graphics, do you mean using C to generate graphics for a form?
