2 VB6 Problems

what im trying to do is to make a button to copy this all. above is text1 for example and iw ant it so say i push command button 1 it will copy it and then i can paste it any where i want. My other problem is i dont know where to get the ID # and HD# . this is for each PC a user opens with.

What exactly is the ID & HW you're trying to receive? What do they correspond to?

they correspond to ur BIOS, Hard drives etc.

I think in C++ tog et your machine id it is like

My next question is this, you say it wont be used for illegal or unethical purposes then why do you need it? Why would you application need that kind of information about a persons computer? Sounds a little fishy to me

What do ID and HW stand for?
You can easily get these values from the Win32 API.

If you can tell me what ID and HW mean, I can direct you to the exact API Functions.

From my understanding is that they stand for your hardware id and machine id. macince id i think ambey be serial?
