Database system coursework, Multiple instances of the program accessing the same database

D.I.C Head Joined: 5 Feb, 2006 Posts: 215 My Contributions	For my computing coursework i must set up a database system for a real user. I managed to get a job from my art teacher, which involves creating a system by which files on the network are easier to find, this shouldnt be too hard. Now, the problem i see coming up very quickly will be: how do i allow multiple users to access and edit the same database at the same time?

Now if you're using Access, I believe the maximum concurrent connections is 10 I believe.
