Before I start giving assistance and directions to go I need to know if you're using VB6 or VB.Net (VB 2005, VB 2003 are both VB.Net). Also have you tried a search, say on Google, for connecting to an Access database? We wont be giving you any code here unless you show the code you've already written and are having problems with smile.gif

I don't want to give me the code, i want you to help me find what is wrong. I tried and visual basic and visual studio .net... but there is the same problem... with ADODB connection. Do you know any e-book wich will help me to solve my problem? Thanks for your answer PsychoCoder.

Well show me the code you're using and Ill see what I can come up with smile.gif

In .Net the ADODB connection has been replaces with the ODBC connection. Either way I need to see what you're using, and what errors you're receiving please smile.gif

Try looking at connectionstrings.com. This will give you the syntax for a connection string using a variety of different "database".

if you need to connect to ms access you need to edit first there in the ms access i think its a long process but you need to that...

same like this

Ex. StudentFile

Firstname
Lastname
Address
Age
I.d Number

then if you already to finish to edit after that save your works..
and then go to in your vb

you need to have this DODB connection
