hello everyone
im new with this vb coding. plz do help me with my problem.
give sample code on how to retrieve data from the data base.
It will reflect the data on a db combo.
im trying to make a phone directory system.

wat are u using coz that depends alot on that, but u cud use sql statements, for instance you declare an sql statement as a string e.g Dim sqlStatement as String then sqlstatement = "Select * from TABLENAME" then db.execute. It wud be easier to assist you if u had somthing try writing down somthing then we can try to help

there are many ways to retrieve data from your database,
you can use adodc connection for connecting into your database
