KDKEVIN needs help in forms, forms

hey everyone

i have a form (doesnt matter what size) and i have a shape that is in the middle of the form and it seems there is like 2 sides also i have a bouncing ball. i tried to say that when the ball falls on the right side a msgbox says "hi"
and if it falls on the left then it says "bye", how would i do that? i tried but it didnt work and i'm using vb6

I am not at all sure what is is you are asking to do. To detect where the ball is? To draw and move the ball (bounce it according to mathematical formulas which emulate how a ball bounces? Or What? You need to be more specific.

pretend the form is a square, the shape1 is like cutting the form in halg. i want to say when the bouncing ball lands on the bottom right of the form a msgbox says hi and if left side then msgobx says bye

You could use a timer which checks the shape control's position repetitively. When your shape reaches the bottom of the form, check its left property to check which side of the form it rests on.
