I'm looking for a site that you can advertise freely with. I don't want to make money off of the site right now. Also is there a reveiw site for programming forums that you don't have to pay to get them to reveiw?

Google/Yahoo/MSN
Ranking high in search engines brings a lot of traffic.

So you want a review of your programming forum, or you want a review forum for programming... eh?

1) I'm not trying to make money off the site so, at least google isn't an option.
2) A site that specilizes in reveiwing programming forums perferably a reletively large one.

Alright, what no2pencil is trying to say, if you have content worth reading on your website, your website should have a chance to get a high rating on search engines. If people are referred from a normal search query on Google, it could be considered "Advertisement". All free.

For instance, google "Ipod Font" and take a look at who is #2 on that list. Everyone looking for information on Apple's font selection for Ipods will most likely check out Dream In Code (and get some sort of answer). This may be enough for them to become members and start posting.

As far as your second question, There are a few knowledgeable people on this board (Cough... Skyhawk) that could possibly give you a few pointers if you let them look at your forum.

There's a broken link on google's advertising page. The link is suposed to go to a adsense signup page.
