It would help if you told us why you need to get the Product Key in the first place.

a ) VB 2008 is VB.NET.
b ) No </DIC> member is going to want to undertake criminal offenses for your gratification.
c ) </DIC> has a policy regarding those that don't show effort shalt not receive their answer (well something along those lines anyway).

Hello

I am interested in the same thing.
While it may be illegal to make workarounds of microsoft product keys, those numbers (or parts of them so microsoft is not hurted in any way) may be useful for other things. For instance to create passwords for one's own applications, based on the application user's operating system.
I have a program that computes hard disk serial numbers but windows key numbers is better I think.
Microsoft in my opinion should assist rather than inhibit.
If it can be done, without damage to microsoft's proprietarity concerns, pls give us some ideas.
