Access Idiot, Foxpro to Access....

New D.I.C Head Joined: 20 Jun, 2002 Posts: 1	Ok, here is my situation... I'm trying to link data from Foxpro into Access, customer information, customer id, names, addresses, order dates, etc... My goal is to create a way for the user to be able to 'check yes/no' if this particular record is to receive a letter or not. I was thinking of adding another field called "Letter" into the linked table, with the option of yes/no, and then create a query that pulls out all the 'yes' records that are in the database, and sends it to a mail merge in word. Is there a better way of doing this? Is it even possible to add a field to a linked table from Foxpro? I'm definately over my head here, trying to learn in a week what usually takes a few months. Thanks for the help!!

cur tu me vexas? Joined: 9 Nov, 2001 Posts: 1,723	Is FoxPro a database? What you're saying sounds like it should work, but it's hard to say without knowing both systems...
