Hi all!

I need my program to be able to get some text off of a remote web server (my server), but I cannot seem to find a way to do it. I have found a way to get data in an XML file on the MSDN forums, but the problem is, I have no idea how to work with XML files!! If I could have the program download the file, then open and read it, that would be fine, if the program could just read the data striaght from the server, that would be even better!

edit: I am building the program with Visual Studio 2008, in managed C++ syntax, BTW.

Thanks for any help!! smile.gif

how can somebody write/find program for you without you showing some way.

BTW, someone said to me someday, don't ever write in your resume that you know XML because everybody knows XML.

Me showing some way of doing what I don't know what to do and am asking how to do?? I don't get it...
It's not that big of a deal anyway, it's just a "convienent" component I wanted to add to </d.i.c.> WordPad, not going to effect me, I built the software, so I know when the updates and patches are out! tongue.gif
