I have not done anything much am still weighing the pros and cons of using Acess instead of MySQL. I want to know which would make more sense to use, I would really appreciate if this is replied as soon as possible.

I want to be able to display pictures at run time in VB 6.0 from an Access/MySQL database. I want to know if I would be able to do this and how

Will these simply be the image file names stored in the DB or the actual file in a binary field? I'm not even sure if access can store images. I would personally use MSSQL for the scalability aspect (Access can only support something like 15 or so users concurrently) and would just store the filename/path in the database and then use that info to point to the file in VB
