hey can you copy your whole data base into SQL so i can move it to somewhere else and still keep the whole structure. cause right now i am doing everything on my local machine with Foxserve 2.1. but soon i am going to need to move it to my server for the site. so is there a way i can do this with out losing the structure of the database, i dont care about the data, cause its all test crap.

yes there is, gimme a bit and I'll get on my machine and show you...

It's something like, export data or dump database or something... dump data... something like that, and there are radio buttons whether you wanna do the structure, structure and data, data, etc. etc.

There's usually an export utility, like you mentioned. From there, you'll be guided through what you want to export, where you want to export to, stuff like that.

What you want to do is.

Open your browser and head over to your phpmyadmin
Login to it.
Select the database to the left.
When the page on the right has loaded, go down to the bottom of the page.
Select which table you want (Ctrl + Lclick to select multiple).
Select if you want structure, data, or both from radio.
Click "Add 'drop table' ", "Complete inserts ", "Extended inserts".

You can select is you want the file in a zip file as well by selecting "Send" and which method you want.

Hope that helps.
Remember to click "Go" as well.

Using the command "mysqldump" will generate a text file of sql commands that would generate your current database.

Anyone know why the MySqlfront got discontinued?
