How much ram?

The visitors alone won't govern the usage of your systems resources, however what they are DOING will. Will they be accessing mysql or php? How much server side activity will they have? Or will they simply be viewing text & pictures?

For instance, I have an in-house LAMP box that has less than a gig of RAM and works for everything that I need it to do, so it just depends on wht you need the server to be able to handle.
