<background>I decided to create a blog system once, it was something complex and resembled a basic forum scheme when I had completed it, however back then I also didn't know what blogging was, and in turn screwed it up pretty badly. After a short time, and my learning some more of what it means to blog I tried to update it and in the process utterly destroyed the whole application. Now I am attempting to give it another go adn create something that works out well, and is more true to blogging.</background>

Basically, I understand that many of you (probably all of you) have blogged for a longer time than I have (as I only blogged whole-heartedly for a few weeks) and I would like to know what features you have grown accustomed to when blogging. Please be specific and give any examples that you can think off. I still haven't done much with blogging and want to get into it, but also have a nice little summer project I am working on (creating a better blog system) that I want to be something people who blog a lot would enjoy using.

I am looking for anything from RSS feeds to PM systems.

I love a schedule post feature, a la Wordpress - being able to write all my posts for the next week or two is great.
