creating menu in c++, menu with buttons

I would like to know how to create a pop up menu like the one with buttons such as file,edit...etc.i want it in the same format as observed in any screen.Also i woul like to create a button to print a particular screen.All this has to be done using the graphics mode of c++ or c.NOT VISUAL C++.

Have you looked into MFC? MSDN has a great reference for that type of material, all GUI form type stuff.
