Hi,

I want to learn to write card game application for web content.
The card game will required a server/db to keep track of the score,
user profile, etc..

1. Which programming languages do you guys mostly write the card games
in?
2. Are there sample of sources games out there such as blackjack for
web content (no JS)?

Im gonna say use flash for this as it is easier than java and sorry to say i dont like java, from flash you can create all your visuals and your code in a nice object oriented way thanks to actionscript 3.0 which is the mutts nuts for 2d web games smile.gif

sorry i cant link you to any tutorials dont know of any :s

I've seen a few card games written in Java but it might be easier to make it in flash because of OOP with Actionscript 3. biggrin.gif If you use flash, you could make your interface and code base in the same program and it would be a lot easier than using java.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any tutorials to get started with making flash card games. sad.gif
