I am currently working on an ASP.NET web app with some VB in it. I know I should use IIS but my laptop is from the school I go to and I don't have the Windows CD. Is there any way I can install IIS without the CD, or is there another (perhaps better) option that I can use to test web apps in the .NET Framework?

There's Apache, but I don't think there's a module to run ASP.NET. You may be able to download IIS from Microsoft, but I don't think so. You may have to borrow someone elses Windows CD.
