WP image effect plugins, Need one for a client

Not a difficult task in the least. I use WP on a regular basis and am quite familiar with quite a few really good plugins... the plugins I use, however, are not image effect related. So I'm asking all you DIC bloggers... are there any good WP plugins for special image effects? What my client is looking for is something that will display all of his images in a flashy, interesting manner... BUT not as a lumped together image gallery.... he wants something that will separate the images post by post and add the flashy effect to the images of each individual post. Does that even make sense? Thanks in advance, folks!
