SQLite in PHP4 without ability to edit php.ini, Need to use local db but web server on college locked down tight

D.I.C Head Joined: 31 Jul, 2008 Posts: 59 Thanked: 6 times Dream Kudos: 200 My Contributions	Hello All, I'm doing a website for the Honors club at the community college I'm attending and the webserver is rather restricted. We can't use MySQL but I can upload the SQLite binary. Problem is I can't edit the php.ini to include the proper extensions. Anyone know of a way to use a local db with SQLite in this configuration? I'd hate to have to resort to system calls or am I forced to write my own php wrapper. Can't use pecl or pear installs either... JW

D.I.C Head Joined: 3 Aug, 2006 Posts: 190 Thanked: 5 times Dream Kudos: 375 My Contributions	I don't know that I can help you with your problem in the manner in which you want, but take a look here at the heading Other PHP FFDBs. That way if it's not possible to use SQLite you may be able to find something else to suit your needs.
