Hey guys I have created a dll and now I want to secure it from any unauthorized access. How do I add a protection. I searched on google but not got anything.

Protect it from what? A hacker/virus programmer? Or just the average joe? Are you just wanting to make it to where someone can't go in & screw around w/ it very easily?

What happens if you write-protect the file (make it read-only)? Not sure if someone else could change its property to something other than read only.

Well If any programmer add a reference of dll he should not be able to use this dll till he enters a code or anything like that.
