Help with curved text?

hi i need some help with this.
no im not a noob asking for someone to do my site.
but i cant figure out how they curved the text on this site and had it vonvert it self in to a .
i think with js or php.

just click add text then choose a font then for typle click over arc.

if any one knows a better way please tell.

It looks liek it is done with PHP, but an easier way (and less stressfull on your server) is to make a flash one that just applies various matrix conversions to the text.

thanks thats the original way i tried but i cant find a sample code.
flash isnt my thing. lol
would you know a site or sample that has this?
or are you just talking about a movie clip effect?

dont worry im taking a actionscript/flash class this year.

You may be able to find something like this at kirupa.com, but I haven't visited ther efor a while so there may not be anything.

no like the one on this site just in flash
