Run a program after process ends

I'm tryin to make a simple vbscript file to run in the background and when a process like "vlc.exe" ends i want to run another file such as "file.bat"
any ideas?
i'm a newbie at coding so be kind to me.
looked everywhere on google and all i could find is how to kill processes.
