I have two images, one for dreamincode, the other for dezinerfolio. What I would like to do is make those two pictures into an animated gif, and then have each one link to their own site. So while it's on the dreamincode I would like users to be able to click on it, and it take them to dreamincode, while its on dezinerfolio, I would like it to go to dezinerfolio. Right now this is the image I have:

I was thinking that something like a marquee might actually solve this, but I didn't know if there was a way to pause it on one image for about 10 seconds before switching to the next one.

Any help on this would be great. Thanks

you can't do it on one image. you have to use javascript.

first, eww never use marquee!! 2nd please make the background transparent, otherwise I don't see the point of doing that.

as for your question, capty is correct.

Use two separate images and pre-load them then place them in a div. Then use javascript to change the image and the link at specific intervals. That should accomplish what you are looking for.

I suppose you could use one animated gif and try to sync your javascript changing the link with the changing intervals of the gif but I would imagine they would not be perfect and over time would degrade (I don't know for certain but it seems likely).
