Are you wanting to make your own or use someone elses?

I'd recommend flash (same as doodlepad), as to program that in Javascript and CSS will take you a loooong time, and a lot of the functions are ready and waiting in actionscript (e.g. startDrag(); )

re: javascript taking a long time... not really. Prototype + Canvas gives you some really great controls. I've been building some interface controls the past week with them and have been pretty impressed.

i want drag the images and merge images like the url i have given i dont have any idea on flash actually i was asked to do the php
project in which we require image manipulation script so, i am loking for a javascript or ajax. i have few scripts but i does not merge and drag images
help me if some here finds the scripts

Nice wee app that cavas painter - seems I may have been wrong smile.gif

I would still make it flash though (but that's purely because I would know how to build that app quickly in flash, and would need to do a bit of research before i dived into a javascript version.

But, if you don't know flash that canvas painter would be a perfect start.

Creating draggable layers is pretty simple in javascript (google javascript drag object), and setting the z-index in CSS will allow you to have the 'layered' effect.
