Sweet, we have the 2nd most tutorials!

D.I.C Addict Joined: 25 Feb, 2008 Posts: 614 Thanked: 24 times Dream Kudos: 750 My Contributions	Hey everyone, I was glancing at the different tutorials that are on DIC, and I realized that we have the second most tutorials on the site. As of this post we had 71 tuts, while C/C++ had 111. I think we can catch them if people keep submitting though. It was just cool to see how far the PHP community has come over the past few months.

Yeah I've always wanted to see one of those too. Some practice projects or something would be great. There are a few good PHP programming books out there though. Not a bad idea for an e-book or something though.

It explains PHP in the context of real-world apps, and has a lot of shortcuts that really only the founder of the language would know.

I've looked through that book at B&N and I've wanted to pick it up, just a bit pricey. I don't know what it is with computer books but they really lay it in on you with the price. Guess they figure you'll recover the cost with the knowledge, but still. If there's a recommendation though I'm definitely going to check it out.
