I have attached 4 documents.

Follow the given 2 paths by clicking

1)
Home -> Stream-wise listing -> put stream = management & state = andhra pradesh -> GO

It displays "Firefox can't find the file at /J:/HTML PROJECT IN JAVASCRIPT/project1/mgt/ap.html"

2)
Home -> Stream-wise listing -> put stream = management & state = assam -> GO

Page displayed !

Tell me what to do !
Both ap.html and assam.html are in the same folder mgt and have been similarly linked from select.html !

Your attached files work fine. You've either got them incorrectly linked, or whatever development tool you are using (IDE) has fubared or miss configured part of this site. As the html files are, by themselves, they display fine.

What is the code you are using to link the files? From that little snippet of code up there, if you are trying to open a document from a website, it needs to be linked to the document within the directory where your website is. It looks like you're reading from drive J on your computer, which will only work on your computer. Those files also need to reside on the webserver along with your webpage. For example:

CODE
<a href="www.yourwebservice.com/pageyouwanttoopen">Title of Page You Want To Open</a>
