Mathematica, sort of a language

So I found out that there is a way in mathematica to wrap images around 3d output, but I can't seem to find the way to do this with imported images. All the examples I have seen use some imported data file which is an image but not in an image format.

Would anyone have any idea how I would use an imported image to do this?
